Thank You for Supporting My Re-election

We did it. On Tuesday, I was re-elected to the Monroe County Legislature. THANK YOU!

The first thank you goes to all the great people of Irondequoit in the 16th Legislative District for keeping me as your representative in convincing fashion. As I've said many times, serving you is an honor. I am grateful for your support and committed to the job of stabilizing our finances, strengthening our economy and restoring integrity to government where it is desperately needed.

The next thank you goes to all of you who supported me but don't live in Irondequoit. Running a successful political campaign requires a tremendous about of help from volunteers, donors, friends and many, many others who make the difference in allowing me to serve our community.

The final thank you goes to my family. You make this all possible and worthwhile. This was an incredible fall for us. Not only did we face a strong challenge in this campaign, but on September 19th my wife, Jennifer, gave birth to our second daughter, Grace, who was born with a life-threatening condition. Thanks to the incredible people at the UR's Golisano Children's Hospital and the prayers from many of you, Grace survived and is growing stronger everyday. Needless to say, we have renewed appreciation for our family and friends that dwarfs, yet magnifies, the gratitude I have for this week's electoral victory.

For those of you interested, we will be sharing Grace's miraculous story with 13WHAM News next week. I hope you enjoy it and I hope you and your family also enjoy a happy and healthy upcoming holiday season.
